Reynolds Family Adventure in Key West from Texas

It took awhile traveling by car from Texas to the Florida Keys, but we knew it was worth it as we drank in the views on the Seven Mile Bridge. We beat the heat in Sloppy Joe’s with Key Lime Pie and cold drinks. The kids giggled at the chickens who wandered the streets alongside tourists. Feeding Six toe cats and a tour of Hemingway’s house painted our imaginations – we even rented “To Have & Have Not” in hopes of satisfying our curiosity. When night fell, and a sincere hankering for a burger got the best of us, we found Jimmy’s lost shaker of salt at Margaritaville. We caught on quickly to just go with the ebb and ow of the other Floridians and found ourselves at Mallory Square with a pirate swallowing a sword. One day, sooner than later, we will return to the Florida Keys with plans of staying longer, playing harder, and applying sunscreen a little more often.
